Before placing an order with the AIHK E-Shop you must have read and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If you are unhappy with any aspect of these, then you should contact us at shop@amnesty.org.hk before placing your order with us.
Buying products on our website
You must pay by Paypal at the time of the order. The price of any product is the price in force at the date and time of your order. We may change the price of any product before you place an order.
When you place an order a confirmation of your order and the amount charged to your credit card, will be sent to the email address you have registered with us. This document will contain your unique order number and details of the items you have purchased. Please keep this documentation somewhere safe in the unlikely event you have a problem.
We must receive payment of the whole of the price for the goods that you order before your order can be accepted. Once payment has been received by us and availability of the product you have ordered is verified, we will send you an email confirming that your order has been accepted and has been dispatched.
Availability
All items are subject to availability. We will inform you as soon as possible, before accepting your order, if the goods you have ordered are not available.
Cancellation of Purchase
Cancellation of purchase is only accepted before a notice of shipping is confirmed. Please send your cancellation request at shop@amnesty.org.hk.
Prices and Payment
All prices on the AIHK E-Shop are exclusive of delivery costs.

Please note that the shipping rates are not inclusive of any customs or import duties that could be levied when the package reaches your destination country.
The AIHK E-SHOP has no control over any customs or import duties that could be levied when the package reaches your destination country and for which you will be liable.
Exchange and Returns
Conditions in relation to returns
Notification of returns received outside of the above time frames will not be accepted. For all returns, except where the item is faulty, you will be required to arrange and pay for the return of the products to us.
We will only accept returns provided that the goods in question are returned by you and received by us in the condition they were in when delivered to you. Your entitlement to a refund may be affected if you fail to take reasonable care of the items while they are in your possession. We also request that items are returned with their original packaging.
Return
We will arrange and pay for the return of the defective candle to us for recycling purposes.
Exchange
Subject to stock availability, we will exchange items that are returned to us within 14 days of being received by you.
Faulty Goods
All items returned as faulty will be inspected and any items deemed to subject to fair wear and tear will not be accepted as faulty. Where possible items may be repaired on request but only where such items are deemed faulty and repairable. Repairs do not come with any guarantees. We will replace a faulty item if a replacement is in stock and available. If you wish to be sent a replacement, please make your request clear when completing your request form.
In case we cannot offer you a replacement, you will have the choice of receiving a credit note or a refund to the value of the item at the time of purchase and any shipping costs occurred. Please note that refunds onto credit cards can take up to 30 days and are subject to your bank’s refund regulations.
Refund
You can only request for refund or replacement within seven working days upon on receiving the candles. Any notifications beyond will not be accepted. A picture of defective proof is required to send to shop@amnesty.org.hk . Refund and replacement will be arranged provided that the candles in question are inspected and deemed faulty. Any candle deemed to subject to fair wear and tear will not be accepted as faulty.
Return
We will arrange and pay for the return of the defective candle to us for recycling purposes.
